Breakthrough Beginners early childhood education

Equipping students with the education and skills necessary for success in kindergarten and beyond

Ages 2-5

The Beginners program provides instruction to young learners (ages 2-5) in core subjects including literacy, math, science and social studies. The program aims to develop emergent skills that are essential to reading and writing, using creative activities and hands-on exploration that correspond to developmental stages and Illinois Learning and Development Standards. The program offers full-day preschool, with care before and after the program to accommodate the schedules of families. When a child exits the program to kindergarten, Breakthrough emphasizes a smooth transition through parent partnerships and collaboration with various local schools.
