Group of people at the Walk for Hunger

A record-breaking 633 walkers joined us for our Walk for Hunger on Saturday, April 27. The annual one-mile walk around Breakthrough’s campus raises awareness and funds to end food insecurity in Garfield Park. Together we raised almost $90,000 to support our food distribution efforts! This helps us provide groceries to our neighbors through our Fresh Market food pantry and meals to participants in our programs. Thank you to the walkers, community partners, sponsors, and volunteers who helped make this event a success. Your advocacy and generosity inspires us.
