Shelter and Day Center

Breakthrough is offering overnight beds and access to services during the day for individuals in crisis. Services include food, clothing, showers, and other basic needs.

We are seeing an increased need in daytime shelter. Already, the program serves 1,200 each year.

Food Pantry

The Fresh Market is distributing prepared bags of groceries, including perishable items like milk, eggs, and meat, to hundreds of people each week.

We have seen a 25% increase in individuals needing food. Each year, the Fresh Market serves 10,000.

Violence Prevention

Violence prevention outreach workers continue to respond to instances of violence, as well as provide education to the community about resources available during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Family Care

Breakthrough's education programs are offering virtual and in-person learning with preventative actions and in accordance with the recommendations of officials.

Additionally, the Breakthrough Youth Network is providing curbside pick-up meals, parent partnerships, and essential needs to students and families.
