For all of us, being home for the holidays means something different this year. Here are several ways you can join us in celebrating this season:

Christmas Store

Help us host a dignifying shopping experience for our neighbors

The Christmas Store provides a dignified way to purchase gifts for loved ones. We need about 5,000 gifts each year for our 500 shoppers. Help us reach our goal by purchasing a gift off our wishlist.

My favorite traditions are putting up the tree, decorating, and cooking. Because of what’s happened this year, I’ll appreciate being with family more during the holidays. We’ve bonded since this has been going on. I think that’s what’s going to make this Christmas special, we’ll do stuff with family.

I love Thanksgiving and Christmas. Thanksgiving is the day I feel like is supposed to be spent with the people you love and just being thankful for everything you’ve received from the man above. And on Christmas Day, I always helped my Auntie cook – everything from macaroni and cheese to turkey and ham. That’s my favorite part.

The holidays are just all about family for me. You know, everyone together and socializing, catching up on old times and reminiscing. I know it’s not my immediate family, but Breakthrough is like my family. They’re like aunties and uncles, nieces and nephews, brothers and sisters. It just feels like home.
