Breakthrough celebrated Opportunity Day on September 7. Every year, we mark a day to recognize the many people working together to strengthen the Garfield Park neighborhood. Staff, community members, and partners shared our commitment to the work of Breakthrough “until everyone thrives” with our navy shirts. It was a special day of celebrating our holistic and collaborative work on our campus and with our network on social media.
We won’t stop until everyone thrives. This is the vision that inspires us and pushes our work forward. For Shakia, a Qualified Mental Health Professional at the Women’s Center, the word “until” is important.
